About NAQCPA, Membership

Pioneer Day 2013, Dedication of the Hacienda Outdoor Mining Exhibit

NAQCPA was originally founded in 1983 and incorporated in 1984. It is the oldest and largest Santa Clara County Park friends organization. If you are interested in finding out more about Almaden Quicksilver County Park or want to help with our projects, you are invited to join NAQCPA. You will receive our newsletters and invitations to our events, such as Pioneer Day. Dues are used to pay for the newsletter and our projects. Here's how you can pay membership dues and donations:

Current NAQCPA Officers:
  • President: Veronica Jordan (Past Presidents Tere Johnson and Kitty Monahan)
  • Vice President: Mike Cox
  • Treasurer: Sue McLain
  • Secretary: Lisa Laymon
NAQCPA is a 501c3 nonprofit public benefit corporation: Articles of Incorporation

Here is a document about NAQCPA's history, originally prepared by Art Boudreault and passed out in 2017 at Pioneer Day. It was updated by Mike Cox for Pioneer Day 2022. (Updated 11/15/22 to correct errors and add John Drew to Obituaries.)

Donate to NAQCPA

NAQCPA accepts donations of volunteer time, financial support, and artifacts. Since NAQCPA is a nonprofit 501c3 corporation recognized by the state of California and the IRS, donations may be tax-deductible.
