The Quicksilver Museum displays life of miners in the mining industry, Ohlone Indians and residents of New Almaden. Founded in 1852 to mine quicksilver, most of New Almaden is now part of the National Historic Register. Many events are available in Almaden Quicksilver County Park and in New Almaden. Current news concerning the Almaden Quicksilver County Park, the Quicksilver Museum and the New Almaden community. Financially help the New Almaden Quicksilver Park Association.
